The historical purpose of an overshirt is to immolate itself to save the layers underneath from the risks attached to everyone’s passions, whether you’re an artist, a craftsman or a vigneron.
To stay true to its natural purpose, we opted for sturdy and long-lasting fabrics that do their best when used hard and broken-in. The pattern involved in its creation was originally conceived for a suede garment, and the first prototype was a sort of internal gamble that found both the creative director and the Liverano Fellows all of one mind. The great versatility of this style combined with the peculiar “behavior” of hard-wearing fabrics gave birth to a timeless hybrid garment able to perform well as an outer layer over a shirt or a coverall, but also as a base layer on which to build the entire outfit.
This is a prototype garment. Click the “Reserve Now” button below if you would like to speak with one of our team members to learn more about this product or to reserve a production slot.
