A garment inspired by the bravery of “Butteri”: the legendary cowboys of Tuscan coast.
The Maremma Field Jacket – a veritable companion of the Butteri – the legendary cowboys of the Tuscan coastal area of Maremma. Buttero Augusto Imperiali likely wore one when he famously defeated Buffalo Bill at a rodeo in Prati di Castello on March 8, 1890.
Here, the collective 12 hands of our Liverano Fellows tailoring school spent 40 hours developing and elevating the Maremma Field Jacket. Made up in an elegant wool flannel, the distinctive Liverano & Liverano single-dart front, one-piece back, yoke, and historically accurate batwing pockets. Suitable for city and country wear.
We offer three different alternatives and constructions for this garment:
